How to install WAMPServer for Windows7 to run php scripts

To run php in local system we need to install  PHP,MySQL,Apache webserver and along with this  some configuration changes are required in order to run php scripts. Obviously it sounds hectic for beginners who are interested to learn php. There is always an easy way to do the things. WAMPServer is a package of php,MySQL and Apache webserver.  Creating a Blog using Blogger is very simple.All the newbies starts blogging with blogger because of it's easiness to use and we can easily customize the code.When it comes to blogging presentation and design of the blog is more important.A blog consists of a Tab bar with different categories of tabs make your blog pretty beautiful. .As  I am also a beginner I have searched for so many blogs and implemented Tabs in my blog .In this article I am going to explain about creating Tabs in a very simple steps.

1.Go to Design view and select Layout option from the left corner .Click on Add a  Gadget in Cross column section below the Header.

2.Select Pages from the Gadget menu.After adding Pages ,Home is the default Tab which is available in the Gadget.Click on the Add external link to add new Tab to your blog.

3.If you want to add a new Tab with name "Android",Click on Add external link and give it the name as "Android" and add the URL to this tab link "https://yourblogname.blogspot.in/search/label/Android". Please note that it is your internal link. In case if you want to add any other external link please add the  URL to this Tab.

4.After writing any Post find the label option in the right side corner of the Post settings.Click on Labels and write the appropriate label name from the tabs list which you have already created.So, the post can be available under the attached label.You can add any number of labels separated by comma.

You can add any number of tabs .But only one thing you should taken care of is URL which you have provided under this Tab. Don't go for more tabs it can make your blog mess.The most important Tabs are Home and About me in any Blog's design.

I have added Six tabs to my Blog.Please make sure that all Tabs are working fine while clicking on Tabs.

How To Download And Install Apache WebServer In Windows 7 OS

Apache is the vividly used WebServer in the web design and  development. People who are new to web development always search for the term Apache WebServer. Because Apache WebServer is an open Source and easily available Software. In this post I am going to explain downloading the Apache binaries and configuration steps for Windows 7.

1. Download the Apache2.4.4.0 Binaries

You can download the Apache Binaries from Apache Lounge website.It is not the official site of Apache and not certified.

Please select either 32-bit or 64-bit according to the OS. you will get the  Zip  file after completing the download .

Extract it in    " C:\Apache24 " directory

Make sure that  windows  visual C++ installed in your system.Even though you have it there is no harm  by install it again. you can get windows visual c++  Redistributable  https://www.microsoft.com/en-in/download/details.aspx?id=48145

Please select either 32-bit or 64-bit according to the OS. you will get the  Zip  file after completing the download .

Extract it in    " C:\Apache24 " directory

2. Configuration Settings

Search for httpd config file which is available in  " C:\Apachi2\Apache24\conf " path.

Open the httpd config file in your favorite text editor . We should configure the server variables to run the Apache WebServer . 

Search for ServerRoot  and   change the  root directory to  "C://Apache24"

Enable  ServerAdmin admin@example.com

Make sure that ServerName localhost should be : 80

3. Testing the Installation 

Go to Start-> Run->cmd

Type the command cd Apache24/bin then press enter

Type the command htttpd -t

Result should be Syntax OK

Celebrate Each Day as a New Year

On 31 Dec night all of my friends were in deep meditation,after new year wishes, slowly my eyes were relaxed and went to sleep. I woke up in the morning I don't know the exact time as my mobile was switched off. I observed the beautiful empty Black Dog bottle,  it looked at me and smiled sarcastically. I ran out from my room and observed the sky ,OH! Same angry sun again there also. There is a school opposite to my room,Usually I like to observe the little innocent faces daily. As usually some kids holding their mom's hands tightly as they don't want to go school eagerly,some are busy with their friends.  Same spark in their little eyes,same healing power in their cheerful smile, same fear about the teacher in school . I switched on the Television, same  advertisements was coming in every interval of 30 minutes.  I observed my mind same thoughts about life,same hobbies and same diary. Then,What is the new in New year?

Questions were wandering in my mind. If nothing has changed except date as other dates in calendar with a new date. At that time one famous adage came into my mind:

Unless our mind changed ,
there is no change in the life.
If Tomorrow is like today
Today is like yesterday
What's new in our life.

Why don't I celebrate each day as a new year.
But don't ask me for holiday daily as new year. Yes,celebrate each day as  a new year. Wake up with fresh thoughts,new hopes. THINGS NEVER CHANGE MY DEAR WE NEED TO CHANGE OUR WAY OF THINKING.  Anyhow Happy New Year to all. Celebrate the life.

How I was Fooled By Facebook Notification of FreeBasics

Few days back I got a notification about supporting #Freebasics in India.I thought that my friends are supporting this good initiative so I too signed up and sent  an e-mail to TRAI(Telecom Regulatory Authority of India) . I am also finding so many advertisements in News Papers,YouTube ,Holdings at bus stops about "Support Connected India".One fine day I have googled about Freebasics , then I came to know the real tactics of Facebook who is behind the scene.I am trying to put the story of Freebasics here with best of my knowledge.

What is FreeBasics and Why did you get the notification in Facebook ?

Freebasics provides people free access to useful services. Go back to history, internet.org is a Facebook initiative along with six more companies(Samsung,Ericsson,MediaTek,OperaSoftware ,Nokia and Qualcomm) as partners. internet.org is re-branded as FreeBasics after it has been criticized for  violating the net neutrality. I want to high-lite the question of a journalist to Mark Jukerberg "being just a Facebook proxy targeting India's poor" as it provides restricted Internet access to Reliance Telecom's subscribers in India. Free basics is launched in India with Reliance Telecom's  to offer a few basic internet services free to his subscribers.subscribers has been criticized by experts as being against the net neutrality.After all this fuss TRAI asked Reliance Telecom's to stop Freebasics at least some time . For getting approval from TRAI Facebook started  a campaign very aggressively and named it as "Support Freebasics in India" with spending so much of money for advertisement and  what are they expecting in return?. Think it once.

It provides free services and supporting digital India like a Messiah , then What is the Issue?

Even though it sounds noble cause there is  a great business plan to reap the maximum profits from India .To provide free services website or App developers has to register in Freebasics . Freebasics acts as a gatekeeper to check which sites are avialable to provide free access. According to TRAI  "Collaboration between telecom service providers and content providers that enable such gatekeeping role to be played by any entity should be actively discouraged". It is against net neutrality and also stifle the start up culture in India.

What initiative has taken by Indian Start ups about net neutrality ?

After Flipkart withdraws it's app from   AirtelZero  to support net neutrality there is another initiative by Cleartip withdrawn from Freebasics.

What I did to rectify my mistake ?

After knowing all these facts I realized that Facebook was fooled me by sending notifications. That notification is about sending mail on bealf of me to TRAI regarding to support Freebasics in India.What's the  shit I did -I sent a mail for  supporting Freebasics in India and I pit for my innocence. It's okay dude , life is all about learning from mistakes . I googled for solutions then I found solutions to reject Freebasics in India. I signed up in https://www.savetheinternet.com/ and put a petition against Freebasics to ban it completely.We can also leave a comment in mygov.in website and I did this one also. It's annoying if some one fooled you and it's Tit for Tat  now.

So , May be you are also there in  this list please go and rectify your mistake.

Sign in with your gmail id if you don't have create one gmail account it takes few more minutes in this case. After Sign in ,you can see a blogger page to create  a new blog.

 

Now all is yours .Click on New Blog.It shows one new window. Blogspot is known for it's simplicity for first time bloggers. In  Create a new blog  window give your blog's title and blog domain name.

                           

3.Title,Domain name and Template are more important to make your Blog attractive :

For me selecting title and domain name is brain storming works. Title must be representing your blog and domain name should me catchy , subjective as well. When it comes to SEO your domain name and title play major role. We will discuss about SEO in future as of now skip this topic.In blogspot your blog domain name  always comes with ".blogspot.com" along with your blog name.For example my blog domain name is "technoinfant.blogspot.com".When you enter your blog name it will search and let you know whether this domain name is available or not in DNS. If your selected domain name is not available add some prefix or suffix to your blog name but spend some time on this.After you are done with domain name and title, select one of the templates and click on  Create blog.Bravo, your blog is ready now. Hmm...wait a while buddy, if you stop it here it is like a half girlfriend. We can customize the blog with various templates , layout settings and even we can change the html code of the blog to make it attractive.
